Grooming Schedule -Sicamous, B.C.

                         2009/2010

Important Notice Regarding Grooming Hours!

Grooming was /or will be done on the afternoon/evening of the days listed below. Grooming will be done from mid-afternoon to evening.

We are instituting a new grooming policy/schedule. Recently we have had some complaints that this schedule at times has not been up to date and this has upset some sledders.

We are unable to predict weather and the amount of riders that our hills receive, and generally we groom after approx. 75 sleds have used a trail.  Subsequently, we will groom on Thursday or Friday, but, dependent upon how many sleds have used a particular trail, it could be done on other days as well.  We have had alot of positive feedback on our grooming earlier so we will continue with this practice.

Pursuant to an agreement with the Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club and the Ministry of Forests, The Eagle Valley Snowmobile Grooming Society is authorized and responsible for grooming all four access trails (Owlhead, Queest, Blue Lake and Eagle Pass) within the Eagle Valley and collecting a grooming fee.

The grooming is done almost exclusively in the mid- afternoon/ evening but riders should always expect the groomer on the trail at any time or other hazards to be around every corner, sled safe
